Arranged marriage Plz help..My dad's was a smalltime businessman. Mom's a homemaker. We are 5 sisters and 1 younger brother. Brother is the youngest one. And among the sisters am the youngest one. Now the problem is we are middle class family. My parents are not highly qualified and they often abuse each other for stupid reasons and use slangs all the time. The only thing i like about my parents is that whatever money they had they invested it on their 6 kids. So we are highly educated. But the problem is none of my elder sisters are married. They were too choosy and dint get married at the right age. Now its almost impossible that they will get married ever. As a result, am unable to get married. As the parents of the guys think i dont come from a good family, so many children, noo one is married. So they dont want to take a risk and get their son married to me. Even am getting old as am already 28yrs old. Although, i have done my MA in Literature, I've always been a good girl. Never boozed or slept around with guys, when i had the opportunity. And am pretty looking. The reason why hate my parents is they have an ancestral piece of land, which they can sell and easily get their 5 daughters married in good families. We all have been contributing money for home expenses coz my dad retired early and we have no savings now. But my parents dont want to sell that land as they want to keep it for their son. And are asking us to elope and get married so that they dont have to spend a penny. Now, which guy from a good family will agree to this, what respect will he have for us. I am educated. i teach english at a school. Now i want to get married and settle down. But, everything in intimidated coz of my family background, no status in the society, parents keep using slangs so everyone thinks the family is not good and that the daughters are also bad girls. Please suggest me, wot should i do. I want to marry a decent guy from a good family and be happy. But its not working out..
